What I built from the other side of it.
I have been quieter than usual this past month because I was building something, and I wanted to make sure it was ready before I brought it to you.
For years, I did not recognize myself. Photographs were not taken. Documentation did not feel warranted.
I lacked confidence, and in the few images captured, there was a distance between the woman in the photo and the woman I understood myself to be. No amount of effort seemed to close the gap.
Years went by.
Dysregulated cortisol, dull skin, thinning hair. Energy so low that some mornings, staying in bed felt like the only thing that made sense. Sleep did not restore me, and what looked like effort unraveled by week’s end.
After one of many doctor’s visits, the realization set in that it was only getting worse. Close to 200 pounds, I found the courage to advocate for myself. To become again the woman who kept her word.
What began with fifteen-minute Peloton rides and short walks turned into near-daily runs and strength training sessions. Last year, I crossed the finish line of my first 5K, having lost more than 60 pounds, with a 10K now on my 2026 calendar.
My deep dive into nutrition, alongside addressing my skin, thinning hair, and the root cause of my hormone imbalance, while rebuilding my image and how I carried myself, irreversibly compounded. Over time, something shifted. Something you do not notice as it builds.
You feel it one morning, when you realize the woman you have been working toward is simply the woman getting dressed. She is no longer a goal. She’s just you.
I built the 90-Day Practice from the other side of this. Not as a program, but as the structure I wish I’d had — movement, nutrition, skin, image, and accountability, all of it working at the same time, alongside women doing it with you so that no week disappears without someone noticing.
